Smoking and the Pill

Question

I am a 19-year old taking Emoquette birth control pills. I smoke about 1 or 2 cigarettes a day, if I smoke at all, and I usually only smoke about 1 or 2 days out of the week, 1 or 2 weeks a month. I know heavy smoking while on the pill increases risks of blood clots and such, but I was wondering if occasional light smoking poses any risks.

Question

I have been taking Apri (birth control) for almost three months. I recently noticed (within the last pill pack) I have regular vaginal dryness. I was wondering if this was attributed to the birth control or another reason. If it is the birth control, will it go away?
