Health Q&A
Health Q&A is an online, anonymous Q&A service that provides an opportunity for visitors to our website to submit health-related questions. Questions are answered by our Health Iowa and Student Health Service staff, including health educators, nurses, and physicians. Currently, there are over 1000 Q&As archived into ten health categories. Before submitting a new question, a search of the archived Q&As may be helpful in retrieving an answer already written about your topic.
Health Iowa staff members make every effort to address as many questions as possible in a timely manner, however, not all questions are answered. Written responses are general in nature and should not be used as specific diagnoses or treatment of conditions.
If you have a specific, personal health issue, contact your healthcare provider. University of Iowa students can call 335-8394 to schedule an appointment.
