Lo/Ovral-28 Birth Control Recall

Pfizer Inc. has recalled 14 lots of Lo/Ovral-28 (norgestrel and ethinyl estradiol) tablets and 14 lots of Norgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol tablets (generic). The concern is not about the dose of medication, but the position or number of placebo pills in the pack.

Westlawn Pharmacy does NOT sell this product--all pills bought at Student Health are safe and effective as prescribed. Patients who have the affected product should notify their physician and return the product to the pharmacy.
