Sexual Health
The Student Health Service provides for diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up examinations of all sexually transmitted diseases. Counseling and information about future prevention of contracting a STI, and FREE condoms and dental dams are also available at the Student Health Service, and at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.

- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhea
- HIV
- Syphilis
- Hepatitis B and C
- Herpes

Student Health Service: for UI students only

- Hours: Normal clinic hours

- Procedure: Mouth swab (most common) or blood test
Johnson County Public Health:
- Fee: Free
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
- Schedule an appointment: call (319) 356-6038
- Procedure: Rapid test using finger prick (most common); mouth swabs are also available, but require follow-up appointment to discuss results
Free Medical Clinic:
- Fee: Free
- Hours: Monday & Thursday 6:15-8:30pm
