The CDC is working to contain the current monkeypox outbreak.  It is important for you to educate yourself about this virus and how to decrease your risk of getting sick.  Cases are increasing, including in Iowa.  The CDC has a good resource for frequently asked questions.  Student Health does NOT have monkeypox vaccine in stock at this time, but do call us so we can evaluate your symptoms/risk/exposure and work with the Iowa Department of Public Health to provide testing and care to you (which may include vaccination). If you have ANY concerns or questions about monkeypox, do not self-schedule with MyChart- please call our Nurseline to get health guidance.  The RN will advise you on making an appointment with one of our providers.
