It's important to get a flu vaccine annually, according to the CDC.  Get your flu vaccine now or when you go home for Fall Break.   A severe flu season is expected, and some parts of the country are already seeing outbreaks.  Don't let the flu hit you for finals!

Call us to get scheduled at Westlawn up through Wednesday Nov. 23. The IMU Nurse Care Clinic is closed for Fall Break.  Read these FAQs about the intersection between flu and COVID-19.

We stock the quadrivalent flu vaccine injection, and the charge is $65. We will submit to your insurance plan. UI insurance and most insurance plans cover flu vaccines, but check in advance if you are unsure on your specific plan.  Charges can be placed on your U-bill.

The free bivalent COVID-19 boosters are available too- get up to date with your COVID vaccination at the same time.  Both vaccines can be given at the same visit.  Read through these tips from UIHC to help make getting your vaccines go smoothly!

Don't take a chance with your health! Get vaccinated and take action to protect yourself- good handwashing, social distancing, mask-wearing in crowds. Try to stay as healthy as possible with good sleep, exercise and nutrition.
