Schedule of COVID-19 Vaccine availability

We only have the (one dose) Johnson & Johnson vaccine available for administration in the clinic, until later next week at the IMU when we will have the Pfizer vaccine (2 doses, 21 days apart). If you want the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, schedule on MyUI.

Tuesday, May 11th:  Johnson & Johnson vaccine

Thursday May 13th and Friday May 14th: Pfizer BioNTech vaccine -at the IMU 9 AM to 4 PM. If you got your first dose at the IMU at the end of April, you do not need to schedule again-you'll soon receive an email to remind you of your time. We will only have Pfizer vaccine at the IMU. Do bring your VACCINE CARD so we can complete it!  You can then take your completed card to the Welcome Center in the IMU to receive your $10 gift card.

If Pfizer is your vaccine of choice but you haven't started the series, or you got your first dose elsewhere,  you can walk-in either day between 9 AM-3:45 PM.  If you are coming for your second dose (and it's been at least 21 days since your first dose), do bring your vaccine card.   There is also a more plentiful vaccine supply in the community now, at local pharmacies and HyVee stores, some with walk-in availability.  We encourage you to get vaccinated as soon as you can, wherever you can!

If you need a second dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, please call our Nurseline at 319-335-9704 to discuss arrangements.
