If you find a bat in your home, try to capture it for testing. By testing the bat for rabies, you can find out if you need to be vaccinated.

A new cluster of mpox cases has been reported in Chicago. The CDC wants to remind people at risk that vaccination is available and recommended for protection.

Starting March 8th, face masks are no longer required at Student Health, unless you are ill with respiratory symptoms. Masks are still available and encouraged especially in certain situations.

There has been a recent surge of fatal overdoses due to people using drugs they were unaware contained the powerful opioid Fentanyl. While these incidents have not occurred on our campus, we want to increase awareness of this risk.
